The collection documents the baseball photography career of George Burke and possibly his assistant, George Brace, between 1922 and 1951. Abstract

This collection contains 16mm film reels of various lengths that are related to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Cooperstown, NY. The films were generated by news photographers and editors working for WKTV, the NBC-affiliated television station in Utica, NY, USA in the years between 1955 and 1982. Some of the films are the original content filmed by the camera operators and some of the films are edited news pieces used within the news programs broadcast by the station.

The collection documents some of the history of the game in New York City during the years between 1947 and 1957 as told in the documentary "The Golden Decade of Baseball" as well as through the eyes of Hall of Fame broadcasters.
