Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection contains audio recordings of interviews conducted by Leo Cloutier as part of his "With Malice Towards None" radio broadcasts and some audio recordings of events that Cloutier was involved in between 1957 and 1976. Most of the interviews were conducted in the early to mid-1970s and include such names as Brooks Robinson, Pete Rose, Lou Piniella, Ron Bloomberg, Bert Blyleven, Jim Kaat, Blue Moon Odom, Frank Robinson, Carlton Fisk, Thurman Munson and more. Interviews were also conducted with baseball team managers such as Earl Weaver and Sparky Anderson, baseball executives such as Haywood Sullivan, Cedric Tallis, Happy Chandler, Chub Feeney and others. Some interviews with baseball writers and broadcasters were also conducted and are part of this collection.
