A collection of 33 standard audiocassettes and CD copies of interviews conducted by Mike Ross for articles and a book about Bobo Newsom. Transcripts of the interviews are included in the collection. Interviewees include his first wife, Lucille and daughter Norma and son Alan, his second wife, Kay, Newsom's family members and friends from his hometown, Allan North, Johnny Vandermeer, Ralph Houk, Eddie Yost, Mark Fidrych, Al Lopez, Ellis Clary, George Kell, Ernie Harwell, Dick Howser, Vince Doyle, Les Moss, Joe Nuxhall, Leo Durocher, Floyd Giebell, Babe Herman, Red Barber, Bobby Bragen, Dick Bartell, Phil Rizzuto, Wade Boggs, Lou Pinella, Monte Irvin, Max Macon, Van Mungo, Herman Helms, John Spencer, Happy Chandler, Don Sutton, Calvin Griffith, Shirley Povich, Luke Appling, Furman Bisher, Andrew Mang, Birdie Tebbets, Hank Greenberg, Paul Richards, Bob Lemon, Mickey Vernon, Hoot Evers, Early Wynn, Jimmy Robertson, Charlie Wardsworth.
