Scope and Contents
This is a collection of Seattle Mariners amateur scouting reports between the years of 1986 and 2001. The reports focus primarily on college prospects, however many high school players are included as well. The collection contains copies of contracts, newspaper clippings, and correspondence between the Seattle Mariners, players, as well as agents. Players of interest include: Hall of Fame member, Ken Griffey, Jr., Alex Rodriguez, Jason Varitek, Raul Ibanez, Tino Martinez, and Joe Pineiro among other major and minor league players.
The numbers in parentheses in the titles refers to the number of scouting reports within each folder.
