A collection of correspondence, agreements, programs, rosters, and financial information relating primarily to the Pittsburgh Pirates. This collection dates between 1886 and 1971 and was created and compiled by Barney Dreyfuss and William Benswanger. Items of note include the 1899 agreements for the sale of Louisville players to Pittsburgh, handbills for spring exhibition games in 1935 and 1936, and handwritten agreements with players.
