Scope and Contents
This collection contains eight volumes of Bowman brand baseball cards, dated between 1948 and 2004. The only complete sets are for the years 1950 and 1990.

Biographical / Historical
Bowman baseball cards are produced by Topps, known for their premium sets and focus on prospect cards, especially those featuring future MLB stars. Bowman has a long history, initially producing cards until 1955, and then being revived by Topps in 1989. The Bowman brand is particularly recognized for its focus on rookie cards and top prospects.
