Ted Williams Card Company collection
Scope and Contents
A collection of baseball cards created by the Ted Williams Card company, 1993-1994. The 1993 premiere set were "Old Timers", with an action photo set against a background ghost photo. There two sets, not complete. There are thirteen "Memories" cards, 1993, which are primarily World Series related. There are checklists for the 1971 Pirates, 1975 Reds, the Etched in Stone series, and Brooks Robinson Collection. There are two sets of Pog cards, 1993, not complete sets. The 1994 set were "Hot Prospects in the Minors", with subsets such as Women in Baseball, Negro Leagues, etc. The 1994 set includes Derek Jeter and Billy Wagner.

Biographical / Historical
The Ted Williams Card Company was a venture of Grand Slam Marketing, which was owned by Williams's son John Henry. The product focuses mostly on retired players and features commentary by Williams.
