Magazine Photograph Covers scrapbook
Scope and Contents
A scrapbook with 124 pages of magazine covers published by the Sporting News and Baseball Magazine. Each page has a photographic image of a baseball player, manager, executive, and a handful have a team photo. These covers date between 1909 and 1926. Images include Hall of Famers such as Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Hans Wagner, Lou Gehrig, Connie Mack, and Joe Cronin.

Biographical / Historical
Baseball Magazine is a now-defunct baseball magazine, the first monthly baseball magazine published in the United States. The magazine was founded by Boston sportswriter Jake Morse prior to the 1908 season.It continued publishing through 1957.
