Seattle Mariners scoresheets, tickets, newsletters
Scope and Contents
This collection contains Seattle Mariners tickets and scoresheets created between 1977 and 2017. The tickets and scoresheets are primarily to regular season games, but some post-season and spring training tickets are also present. See the series descriptions for further information. The newsletters are from the Seattle Mariners Women's Club, with each issue giving information on club activities.

Biographical / Historical
Patty Skommesa was an avid baseball fan of the Seattle Mariners. She was a season ticket holder, and she attended almost all home games between 1977 and 1994. She kept scoresheets at every home game and scored away games off the radio or television. She also traveled for spring training games and attended games at a few other stadiums. She was also a member of the Seattle Mariners Women's Club.
The Women's Club was founded in June 1977 with the help of Wes Stock's wife, Bev. The Club helped the Mariners with mailings, preparing information for ticket buyers. During games, they would help with gate give-aways. This Club grew and held charity dinners, annual parties, and a Bev and Wes Scholarship was established in 1982.

This collection is arranged into three series: Series I. Seattle Mariners scoresheets and Series II. Seattle Mariners tickets, Series III Newsletters. It is arranged in chronological order within each series.

No materials were removed during accessioning or processing.
Processing Information
Scoresheets were placed in acid-free folders and acid-free document boxes. Tickets were re-housed into acid-free three-ring binder boxes and placed into archival sleeves. The newsletters are in sleeves and three-ring binders.
