Ramond F. Burley scorebook collection
Scope and Contents
A collection of 169 scorebooks created by Ramond F. Burley between 1918 and 1972. These cover from March to November, but it varies from year to year. Burley covered the San Francisco Seals in the Pacific Coast League primarily but there are Major League games played at Ebbets Field and the Polo Grounds. Also included are handwritten notes on each player, arranged in alphabetical order by surname. Data includes first year of record, number of pictures attached to player's file, position, and recapitulation of accomplishments in all games scored.
