A collection of original and reproduction cartoons created by Leo O'Mealia between 1933 and 1955. They related to players in the American League and National League. Topics include World Series, Hall of Famers, rivalries between teams, such as the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants, and odd plays from games.

Biographical / Historical

Leo O'Mealia was a sports cartoonist for the Rochester Herald, the Rochester Times, the Globe, and the New York Daily News. He was the creator of a popular syndicated comic strip titled "Wedlock". His signature trademark was a small lion in every cartoon.
