Lew Paper Research collection
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of newspaper clippings and articles on players who played for the New York Yankees or the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1956. The interviews give the researcher insight on Don Larsen’s perfect game during the World Series. The first draft manuscript is longer than the final draft and some of the excised material may be of interest to researchers. Also included are 44 micro cassettes and interview transcripts conducted by Lew Paper between 2005 and 2007, transcripts conducted by Peter Golenbock on behalf of Paper in 2006.
