George Goetz Scorecard collection
Scope and Contents
A collection of 148 scorecards/programs, primarily of Major League games. Most are scored with various game notations, such as specific details of a play, weather delays or cancellations. There are a large number of doubleheaders included. There is one All-Star game dated July 6, 1942, and World Series game 2 in 1950 and game 2 in 1956. There are a few minor league games and a scorecard for a 1943 football game.

George Goetz, along with his wife Alice, were baseball fans who lived in Pennsylavania. The scored games are primarily New York, Philadelphia or Washington, D.C.
