Scope and Contents

A collection of scorebooks dated between 1861 and 2020. These were kept by various people and include games from amateur to the Major Leagues. They include games from the House of David, the AAGPBL, Industrial leagues, and various Minor Leagues. Items of interest includes the longest game of 33 innings between the Rochester Red Wings and Pawtucket Red Sox in 1981, Cape Cod Baseball Hall of Fame scorebook of 1867-1868, and NY City scorebook of 1883.

Processing Information

Scorebooks were placed in either acid-free file folders or envelopes and in flat boxes. Certain scorebooks were placed in custom boxes.
