Bob Gillen Scorecard collection
Scope and Contents
A collection of scored scorecards dated between 1946 and 2001, kept by Bob Gillen. The games include regular season and spring training in Florida. There is one World Series scorecard of game one in 1953, and one Minor League game from 2001. Notations include weather conditions, attendance figures, and umpires.

Biographical / Historical
Bob Gillen, 1923-2020, went through school in Swampscott, MA where he played baseball and football, then obtained a mechanical engineering degree from MIT in 1944. He loved his Boston Red Sox and lived long enough to see them win a World Series.—legacy.com/us/obituaries
