Scope and Contents

A collection of oral history interview transcripts conducted by Martin Abramowitz, Peter Ephross, and Elli Wohlgelernter. Other interviewers include Louis Jacobson, Marc Katz, John Woestendick, Rebecca Alpert, Susan Cayleff, Lelly Landy, Howard Goldstein, Joe Eskenazi, Joe Capozzi, Bob Ruxin, and Rich Topp. These were conducted between 1978 and 2011. This collection is organized in alphabetical order by surname. Eight of the interviews have signed release forms. There is one folder with receipts from the New York Public Library, where a handful of transcripts were purchased. There are interviews with former AAGPBL players, Thelma Eisen and Anita Foss. There are two cassettes lableled "Art Shamsky, October 13, 1983" with no transcript.
