Appraisal
Two reels, #1 and #14, were missing at the time of donation, lost by Ritter in 1968. #15a was also missing from the donation since Ritter reported that it was accidentally erased. Processing was not documented at the time it was done; at some point the original storage boxes were replaced with acid-free boxes.
Processing Information
Specific decisions regarding arrangement, description, and physical interventions for this collection prior to 2019 are unknown. At some point the reels were transferred to acid free-boxes. In 2021, the original storage boxes were photographed and disposed of. Original metadata, when available, was photocopied and affixed to the outside of the boxes. The transcripts, which were on fragile paper and were showing signs of deterioration, were photocopied onto acid-free paper and the originals were disposed of.
