Biographical / Historical
The 1949-1950 Toleteros baseball cards were the second of three annual issues of cards from the Puerto Rican League winter seasons. The cards feature players from the Puerto Rican Winter League, including both Negro League and Major League players. This issue of cards is similar in design to the 1948-1949 Toletero cards except the fronts are black and white and the text on the backs are printed in red.

Bithorn card was removed from a slab. Materials were placed in new acid-free folders and boxes.
