Scope and Contents
A collection of 718 scorecards scored by Carl Etz between 1938 and 1989. There are 607 home games of the Pittsburg Pirates and a combined 111 home games of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, NY Giants, NY Mets, NY Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, and Washington Senators. There are many doubleheaders and some scorecards are noted with attendance. One item of note is the game of August 28, 1938, between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburg Pirates. It has Babe Ruth listed as a coach for the Dodgers.
