Scope and Contents
This collection includes research notes, timelines, and articles created and used by the author in the writing of his book. There are three yellow ledger notepades detailing 1981 using The Sporting News as a source. There is a copy of the Marvin and Theresa Miller Papers finding aid, kept at the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library at NYU. There are interview transcripts for Marvin Miller, Jon Matlock, Ted Cox, Murray Chass, and Clark Griffith. Includes transcripts of the injunction hearing, May-June 1981, and the unfair labor practice case, July 1981. There are four draft copies of the manuscript with edits.
