Scope and Contents
A collection of Major League Baseball All-Star voting results and ballots. Some have handwritten tabulations from each team by position. The 1959 ballots have typewritten and handwritten results. Most ballots are punched but no voter information. The All-Star voting has had different corporate sponsors such as USA Today, Gillette, Texaco, CompUSA, Ameriquest, and Firestone. There are fan ballots for 1988 and 1989, 2000 and 2001 have English and French ballots, and 2002 to 2005 have English and Japanese ballots. There are two boxes of IBM punched cards dated 1964. The ballots which are signed have a 65-year release restriction based on date of creation.
